The Public Works Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the water, sewer, street, drainage, and cemetery systems. Some of their daily tasks include:
Repair and replacement of street signs and street lights.
Repair and replacement of water mains, service lines, and water meters.
Cleaning and repair of catch basins and manholes.
Pothole repair.
Treatment of drinking water.
Treatment of wastewater.
